Caversham Wildlife Park, Western Australia

"Zoo animals are ambassadors for their cousins in the wild" - Jack Hanna

As you might know, there are some wildlife park in Australia you can get very close to Australia animal icons--kangaroos, wallabies and koalas. Caversham Wildlife Park is one of them. Located just 15 kilometers away from the center of Perth, this encounter is another great attraction that you should not miss. To get in, ticket for adults is 27AUD and children age between 3-14 years old is 12AUD.

Real hands on experience

See? How close between me and that kangaroo! Apart from take some photos with kagaroos, you can hand-feed them too. At first I was quit scared that kangaroos will bite me, but no, they did not. Hand-feed can give you tickle feeling because of their whiskers but it's alright. Some kangaroos have the babies in their front pocket too! That's why they move a little bit slower than others.

Next animal that I really wanna touch and hold is koalas. No need to describe more about how adorable they are. Here is a photo to prove my hypothesis.

Koalas

Look at them! I have to tell you that koalas have the softest fur ever. Well, not really ever but it is very similar feeling with Siberian Husky dog fur. Anyway, I wanted to hold the koala and took some photos, nevertheless, the staff did not allow me to do that. The staff allowed me gently touched it with my back hand. Partly good and partly bad.
